Information
 Kissimmee Gateway Airport (ism), formerly
Kissimmee Municipal Airport is the closest general aviation facility
to most of central Florida's attractions. The airport is a full
service aviation facility offering multiple services to GA pilots
including fuel, rental cars, aircraft maintenance and repair and
much more. Within an eight mile radius of the airport are hotels,
restaurants, the Orange County Civic Center and of course the attractions
including Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and Seaworld.
Kissimmee Gateway Airport is a class D airport
with two hard surfaced runways (Runway 15/33, 6,000 x 100
feet, runway 06/24 5,000 x 150 feet) and multiple instrument approaches,
including a newly installed ILS. You will find Kissimmee Gateway
Airport (ism) on the bottom half of the Jacksonville sectional chart
just southwest of Orlando International (mco).
